Jay W. Chrisman D.D.S.

Cosmetic dentist Jay W. Chrisman is a Bloomington native and the third generation of Chrisman dentists in Bloomington, Illinois. He is a graduate of Bloomington High School, Lake Forest College, and the University of Illinois’ School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he served a tour of duty as a dental officer in the United States Navy and returned to Bloomington in 1976 to open a new dental office with his father, Robert A. Chrisman.

Dr. Jay loves his job! He loves it when patients tell him, "This is the first time that I've been to the dentist that I didn't feel anything." And he especially enjoys turning ordinary smiles or less-than-ordinary smiles into beautiful smiles. Dr. Jay loves making people happy with their smiles, and this is the primary reason he wanted to excel in the art of cosmetic dentistry. Having completed a difficult training program, he is now very proud to say he is one of less than 250 dentists in the world to have earned accreditation status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This dedication to excellence has made Dr. Jay a popular cosmetic dentist among residents of Bloomington, Peoria, Champaign, and other communities in Illinois.

Dr. Jay is married and has three children. He is a sports enthusiast and is very active in the community, having served on the boards of The Children's Foundation, Second Presbyterian Church, and Bloomington-Normal Cursillo. He is a member of the local, state, and national dental societies. He is also currently Vice-President of his local school board, the Tri-Valley school board.

David D. Wyse D.D.S.

Cosmetic dentist David D. Wyse grew up in Bloomington, Illinois and graduated from University High School. He attended the University of Florida, majoring in Microbiology prior to receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois.

Dr. David loves being a dentist. Having the ability to improve the health and well-being of his patients as well as the opportunity to develop relationships with them is his favorite part of the job. Dr. David also loves being a part of a practice in which only the best materials are used and the newest technologies are employed for the benefit of the patient.

To ensure his objective of providing his patients with the highest quality dentistry available, Dr. David attends continuing education courses exceeding the requirements of his state licensure board. He is a member of the local, state, and national dental societies.

Dr. David is married and has three children. He enjoys golfing, playing basketball, traveling, reading, and supporting his children's activities.

Telephone Calls: Telephone calls received during regular office hours will routinely be handled by our office personnel. Appointments and time control: We feel that your time is valuable and, except for in the case of an emergency dental treatment for another patient, you can expect us to make every effort to stay on time. Because we are considerate of our patients' time, we have found that they are, likewise, considerate of our time. We see all dental patients on an appointment basis. We appreciate 24 hours notice if an appointment time must be changed so that the appointment time can be used by another patient.

Emergency Care: We recognize that you may have an emergency dental situation arise, and if you do, we will do our very best to respond to your problem promptly. If you have a problem, please call us as early in the day as possible. On the weekend, do not hesitate to call Dr. Jay Chrisman at home.
